Biography.

Electronic-pop singer songwriter with a unique attitude that is taking the music scene by storm. Branded in the fashion of “alternative” yet takes the stereotypical image into a new retro dimension; introducing the real life teen angst into commercial electronica but with a twist of 8BIT electronica and eccentricity. Music and lyrics created independently; the true artist originality of an unusual young lady from Manchester.

EP of 7 tracks “Heartbreaker Painmaker” released on MySpace in early 2007 at fourteen years old.

Performed at Manchester Academy at sixteen years of age in December 2008.

Finalist of London Underage Festival songwriting competition in August 2009.

Introduced as outstanding new music on BBC Introducing – Radio Lancashire in April 2010, radio broadcasted interview and live performance of “Your Girlfriend Hates You, She Wants Me” and “Colourblind” with radio plays of “Passion to Poison” and “Dirty Little Secret” on many other occasions.

Featured artist profile, labelled as a “music sensation” in Style Magazine – Summer 2010.

Performed inside the Manchester Arndale Centre for PULP Fest - July 2010.

Performed and supported Kelis at Manchester Gay Pride Festival in August 2010.

Filmed music video for “Passion to Poison” with a Manchester based film company; rottedgrapeproductions.

Made it to the XFactor 2011 Series 8 Judges Round, with a "Yes!" from Louis Walsh and other supportive comments from Tulisa (NDubz), Kelly Rowland, and Gary Barlow. Tulisa stated "You're unique and I like you, I wish you all the best with your music".

Performed at Manchester Gay Pride Festival in August 2011.

Progressed to the official longlist for PRS Songwriting Competition in December 2011.

Featured as “the sound of 2012” in a Manchester Evening News - CityLife new music article.

Guest interview on BBC Introducing – Radio Lancashire in February 2012, with radio plays of new track “If You Change Your Mind”.

Artist feature and “If You Change Your Mind” broadcasted on the Independent Music News podcast in March 2012.

Regional finalist of original music competition Live and Unsigned 2012, regional finals to be held at Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester in April 2012 to compete for the national final at the 02, London broadcasted on Sky TV.

Recorded “3AM” with Resound Media Recording Studios in Sheffield, receiving exceptional feedback from Sound Consultancy Management and UK music store Dawsons.

Showcased in Manchester Evening News – City Life for outstanding unsigned music.
Featured in Cosmopolitan Magazine – December Issue for unique music and fashion.

Filmed an online fashion tutorial in London for VO5 hair brand.

Gemma Cairney, DJ at BBC Radio 1, commented on new upbeat track “Nob Head” saying “I like it! It reminds me of when I first heard Kate Nash.”
